Kalachakra – Wheel of Time – is a complex meditation system, the king of the highest yoga tantra. Its practice is taught as a swift path from the beginning of Buddhist practice to complete enlightenment in a single lifetime.

We are very happy to invite all practitioners to this year's teachings by Khentrul Rinpoche Jamphel Lodrö.

Khentrul Rinpoche is a vajra master of the Kalachakra Tantra and lineage holder of the Jonang tradition. He is director of a Rimé Institute in Australia and travels all over the world to encourage practitioners to practise the extremely rare and precious Kalachakra Tantra.

Khentrul Rinpoche
The renowned Jonang scholar and Rimé master Khentrul Jamphel Lodrö Rinpoche is Khenpo (teacher) at Dzamthang monastery in Tibet and founder of the Tibetan Buddhist Rimé Institute (TBRI, www.rimebuddhism.com and www.khentrulrinpoche.com) in Australia.
Rinpoche is a highly realised vajra master of the Kalachakra Tantra. He travels all over the world in order to share and practice non-sectarian Buddhist philosophy and meditation and to encourage practitioners to train in the very rare and precious Kalachakra Tantra.
During summer term 2016 Rinpoche held courses at the Department of South Asian, Tibetan and Buddhist Studies of the University of Vienna.

Timetable information

From Schwanberg train station you can take the shared taxi (for more information: IstMobil_Südwest) directly to the Kalachakra Kalapa Center with the stop "Buddhist Center". The taxi must be ordered at least one hour in advance.
