  • Lecture: "The way of the Buddha: steps to awakening" by Stephan Pende Wormland

  • On the first weekend we will mainly study the theoretical basis. This wekend seminar is well suited to get an idea of the topic or just to have a try!
    Time: Sat, 24 September, 9:30 – 18:00 / Sun, 25 September, 9:30 – 14:00
  • The weekly meetings are organised and guided by Christine Schnitzer. We will deepen our understanding through readings and discussions, guided and quiet meditation, audio and video teachings. There will be plenty of time for the exchange of knowledge and experience among the participants.

  • The module will be completed by a weekend retreat. Here we will mainly meditate on the topic which helps us to deepen our experience.

Stephan Pende Wormland Stephan Pende Wormland was born  in Germany and practiced in various spiritual traditions for over 25 years. He graduated in clinical psychology and studied Gestalt Therapy. He worked 8 years in psychiatry and as a paramedic.  As a student of Lama Zopa Rinpoche, he lived 11 years as aTibetan Buddhist monk, including 8 years as manager and director of Nalanda Monastery in southern France. Stephan spent 4 years in various retreats. He derobed in 2009. Currently, he lives as resident teacher at the FPMT center in Copenhagen, offers courses and leads meditation retreats in Europe.
