Module 4: "Death and Rebirth"

Usually we prefer to avoid the topic of death. However, by inspecting it more closely we can lose our fear. Eva März has taught this programme a number of times and has a lot of experience in attending to people with serious diseases.

With lectures, guided meditations and exercises for everyday Eva will encourage us to run our whole life as a preparation for death.

  • On the first weekend we will mainly study the theoretical basis. This wekend seminar is well suited to get an idea of the topic or just to have a try!

  • The weekly meetings are organised and guided by Christine Schnitzer. We will deepen our understanding through readings and discussions, guided and quiet meditation, audio and video teachings. There will be plenty of time for the exchange of knowledge and experience among the participants.

  • The module will be completed by a weekend retreat. Here we will mainly meditate on the topic which helps us to deepen our experience.

Claudia Wellnitz met Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche for the first time in 1980 and has been studying the Buddhist teachings ever since, e.g. for 4 years at Nalanda monastery in France and during several retreats. For ten years she has been leading retreats and meditation courses and works as a translator and publishing editor for various Buddhist publishing houses. She is director of Diamant Verlag and first Tara Rokpa therapist in Italy (since 2001). She is also director of Kushi Ling meditation centre near lake Garda.
