Retreat for training the mind

How to transform good and bad circumstances into opportunities for practice of compassion

Based on the famous text „Seven-point mind training“ by Geshe Chekawa we will practise the preliminaries during 4 meditation sessions per day and develop relative and ultimate bodhicitta. In lectures and discussions we open up the deeper meaning of the text that contains so many guidelines with useful advice how to apply the Buddhist teachings to the numerous challenges of our everyday life.

Claudia Wellnitz came into contact with Buddhism and her main teatchers, Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche, in 1980 during a trip to Nepal. During a four-year-long stay at Nalanda monastery in southern France she studied Buddhist philosophy under the guidance of Geshe Jampa Tegchok. She is a registered teacher of FPMT and a qualified Tara Rokpa therapist. Since 2001 she is director of Kushi Ling meditation centre near lake Garda, Italy, and leads Buddhist as well as psychotherapeutic courses in Italy, Germany, and other European countries.

Arrival by train (S-Bahn S6/61) at Schwanberg:

Please take the train S6 from Graz-Main Station direction  Wies/Eibiswald, departure 16:00; arrival at Schwanberg: 16:50.

Attention: From mid-December a new timetable will come into effect. Please check whether the departure time will be changed!
