Vajarasattva Retreat with Ven. Lobsang Namgyel

As long as we are under the control of the afflictions—attachment, aversion and ignorance—we cannot completely avoid unwholesome thoughts and actions. Thereby we create "negative karma", i.e. potentially damaging imprints in our minds that lead to further negative experiences and can impede our practice. In Tibetan Buddhism many exercises are used to counteract these negative tendencies, for instance the meditation practice on Vajrasattva, the Buddha aspect of purification.

We are very happy and honoured that the experienced teacher Ven. Namgyel will explain to us the special significance of this practice.
