Summer camps / Karma yoga retreats for volunteers at Kalachakra Kalapa Center

Each year we hold summer camps or karma yoga retreats for volunteers where we want to continue the renovation of the centre.

We cordially invite you to practice Karma Yoga (working in and around the houses) and formal Buddhist practice with us at Kalachakra Kalapa Center. We offer a splendid view, fresh air and free board and lodging.

Activity, energy, right motivation (for the sake of all sentient beings of course!), and the following practical skills are required:

a practical mind, cooking, sewing, allround manual working, gardening, bricklaying, carpentry, plumbing etc.

Tasks:

Kalachakra Stupa: partly renewing and painting the ornaments of the Stupa
Stupa hill: gras cutting, planting, renovating the paths
Tending and shaping the grounds of the center
Bricklaying and carpentry
Painting the rooms, sanding down floors
Clearing up inside and outside the houses
Cooking for the volunteers
etc.

Please check the dates on our homepage and let us know as soon as possible at what dates you can come so that we can organise and coordinate the work during the two weeks.
