The first summer camp at Kalachakra Kalapa Center
took place from 4th to 24th August 2003.

A volunteer: "BETTER THAN HOLIDAYS!"

		Cheerful and busy volunteers between 5 and 65 from Slovenia, Germany and Austria kindly offered their time and working power.	Formal practice every morning and evening was followed by noble silence until after breakfast and during the other meals.
Karmayoga in fresh air, with splendid weather and a wonderful view.
Talented cooks provided us with tasty meals made of organically grown food.
	The team (up to 15 people) changed every week. We digged, painted, sewed, cleaned up, and much more.

And we may take pride in the result! From summer 2004 onwards events can be held at Kalachakra Kalapa Center with board and lodging for up to 20 persons.

The Gompa
measures ca. 100 m2. Its floor is laid out with the carpet of the Kalachakra stage from Graz City Hall. The furnishing is given particular splendour by the lifesize Kalachakra Yab Yum statue.

Rituals and meditations can be held any time (unless it is too cold!).

Our project, however, is still far from being finished. We need more time, financial support, perseverance, energy and patience – an excellent opportunity to practice the six perfections/paramitas. We cordially invite you to continue supporting this wonderful project and thereby contribute to providing many people with a place of refuge.
