Pricing and financing:
Kalachakra Kalapa Center is financed by membership fees, donations and revenues
from courses/events. The price for a seminar includes the course fee as well as
full board and lodging. We calculate with EUR 30 per day for full board and lodging.
This amount just covers the operating costs of the center.
For renovations and further improvement of the center's infrastructure we solely
rely on donations.
Liability:
Every participant is himself/herself responsible for his/her training, stay as
well as psychological or physical consequences. She Drup Ling Buddhist Center
resp. Kalachakra Kalapa Center cannot be made responsible for psychological or
physical damage incurred during a course. In particular, we wish to point out
that each participant is responsible and will not be hindered to leave a course
early.
Meditation is no replacement for psychotherapy!
Board and lodging:
in rooms with 4 - 8 beds, full board included (breakfast, tea, lunch,
afternoon tea, dinner)
Karma Yoga:
One hour work per day in the house or garden represents part of the mindfulness
practice of all seminars at Kalachakra Kalapa Center. On the one hand, this is
a long-standing buddhist practice, on the other hand it is necessary to cope with
the daily chores.
Clothes:
For a stay at Kalachakra Kalapa Center we recommend warm clothes (also in summer!)
and strong shoes.
Behaviour:
In our centers we practise the Five Shilas:
No killing
No stealing
No sexual activities
No lying
No consumption of alcohol,
drugs, or nicotine
The association:
The Buddhist Center She Drup Ling Graz and Kalachakra Kalapa Center
are run by "Verein zur Förderung Buddhistischer Werte".
This is a charitable organization, which through its activities promotes
buddhist values, in particular wisdom, compassion towards all beings,
and the striving for enlightenment. Unless indicated otherwise, it is
not necessary to be a buddhist or a member of the association in order
to participate in our events and courses.
The association is financed by revenues from events, donations and membership
fees. The members support the aims of the association by a monthly fee of EUR
